Momentum

Individual Exercise I, of the series Momentum, 2015.

About the series

Defining the instant before any given event as a potential unit of time, one in which conventional timekeeping grinds to a halt, evoking the impending fragilty of the moment, stretching it, holding onto its fleeting nature.

A moment, intangible, as a thought, as a decision, but preceding it... It is a moment measured by its ephemeral and dramatic resistance.

In vain, we attempt to control the course of our lives. Perhaps, our potential is only realized as an experience in the precise moment just before the outcome, in the state of vertigo, in the sensation of waking up falling.
